Illegal school parking 'should be fined'
Wed, 12 Feb 2014DRIVERS who park illegally when dropping off or collecting their children from school should be fined. A large number of drivers (86%) say they agree with trials by councils to catch school run drivers who park on zig-zag lines at pedestrian crossings, even if they stop for only a few seconds. Several local councils, including Enfield in north London and York boroughs, are now using CCTV cameras to capture illegal parking.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place from Friday 27th June to Sunday 29th June with the Moving Motor Show taking place on the Thursday before – 26th June – to complete perhaps the best ‘car’ weekend on the planet. Rumor mill: Porsche 928 successor on the way?

The new grand tourer, which could wear the 929 nameplate, will be based on a shortened version of the Porsche Panamera platform and will be offered in both coupe and convertible body styles.
