Audi Urban Concept City Car - first photos It’s hard to know exactly what Audi plans to do with their City Car - the Audi Urban Concept – once they’ve rolled it out to the world at Frankfurt 2011. Are they planning to put the diminutive electric Audi go-kart in to production? We really don’t know, but if they are, it’s a while away; we’ve been getting e-Tron concepts for an age with no concrete sign of their arrival, so any production Urban Concept from Audi is not going to happen quickly.

Nearly half of male drivers admit to having fallen asleep at the wheel, a survey has found. Road safety charity Brake and insurance company Direct Line found that 31% of all drivers admit to ‘head-nodding’ at the wheel – meaning they’ve fallen asleep while driving a car for between two and 30 seconds. General Motors' OnStar service is launching new features with the latest generation of its technology and is testing applications such as reading text messages and updating social-networking Web sites via voice command. The ninth generation of OnStar's software will let GM car owners use their smartphone to remotely start the engine and lock or unlock their cars. The service is called OnStar MyLink.
