Westfield, Massachusetts, United States
Condition:New other (see details) Brand:Harley-Davidson Surface Finish:Chrome

I am asking $3,000 or best reasonable offer. I am a very motivated seller, so please contact me for details.  Local pick up only please (Southampton, Mass.)

I am listing my brand new Harley Davidson 103 engine for sale.
First up, a little history on the engine.

I recently purchased a brand new 2016 Street Glide Special (FLHXS) from my local authorized Harley Davidson dealership. As soon as I signed on the line, the bike went straight into their service department to be transformed into a one-off custom. At the heart of this build is a 120R race engine. Hence, my reason for selling the stock 103 engine.

A few points of interest:

1. This engine has zero road miles on it. The only time it was run was at the factory for pre-delivery preparation.

2. The stock air cleaner, throttle body, and injectors will be included

3. The engine was professionally removed by an authorized Harley Davidson dealership. VIN, engine case numbers, and documentation can all be provided upon request.

4. The engine was JUST removed this past week and is still at the dealership. I can coordinate to pick up or show the engine there.

Thanks for taking the time to read the ad and feel free to ask any questions!

Barn-stored, one-off Lagonda V12 heads to auction

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

Lagonda is now a nameplate associated with Aston Martin; even though the two companies' histories have been closely intertwined for the past half century, Lagonda was once an independent marque whose creations rivaled those from Crewe and Newport Pagnell. The marque's historical models are rare on any side of the pond now, but every once in a while we see one of its cars make a grand entrance. This V12 two-door Hooper saloon was a one-off built for the wife of the owner of Hooper Bodies Ltd.

Fiat challenges RCA students to design the 500 or Panda of 2020

Fiat is challenging Vehicle Design students at London's Royal College of Art to explore how the Fiat 500 and the Panda might look in 2020 in a new contest called ‘Two of a Kind'. 14 teams of four students from across all design disciplines are asked to design innovative exterior and interior proposals taking interactivity, digital interface, sustainability and global appeal in account, using the Fiat design language as a starting point. The Master's students will be supported by six lectures at the RCA from some of the carmaker's top designers, such as head of design (Europe, Middle East and Asia regions) Roberto Giolito and head of global design Lorenzo Ramaciotti.

'Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish': A tribute to Steve Jobs (1955-2011)

Sat, 08 Oct 2011

The recent passing of Steve Jobs, co-founder and CEO of Apple, has found us mourning the loss of a visionary who brought not only technology and functionality to the product design industry, but also transcended the boundary into automotive design. Jobs succeeded in making what was at the time a foreign invention – the personal computer, a device impeded by its lack of usability – attractive to the masses by making it simpler, intuitive and essentially more functional for those who didn't hold a PhD in physics. From his previous experience with the artistic qualities of calligraphy, Jobs took a sector that was so inward looking that it risked alienating the consumer – regardless of its capability – and wrapped it up in a warm, aesthetically appealing package that could be more easily understood.
