U.S. car sales surge 19 percent in May
Thu, 03 Jun 2010All major automakers except Toyota reported double-digit U.S. sales gains in May, as the light-vehicle sales rate hit its highest level since December. Sales rose 19 percent from May 2009, marking the eighth-straight monthly increase, the longest such streak since June 2000, according to Bloomberg Data.

Part coupe, part commercial vehicle – according to a Nissan spokesperson we spoke to at the show – the Townpod concept features a clear product aesthetic and the inherent practicality of a van, without resorting to outright utilitarianism. Boy, 3, takes family car for a spin
Fri, 25 Jul 2014A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy took his family's car for a ride - and drove down two embankments in West Sussex before ending up in a pub garden with just a bumped head. The boy started up the engine to the automatic Subaru Impreza and drove off down the family's long driveway in Henley, near Midhurst. He then carried on, driving down two embankments before ending up in the garden of the nearby 16th Century Duke of Cumberland Arms pub.
