Sound Performance T61 Garrett turbo kit - TurboXS BOV
This is a great kit if you plan on running stock fuel. This includes polished 61mm turbo(Zero Miles on Rebuild),
manifold adapter, adapter cover, intake w/ filter, intercooler pipe to fit stock intercooler piping, custom oil return line adapter,
Turbo XS blow off valve, and the downpipe
Turbo was making 430 rwhp untuned at 17psi on stock auto stock fuel / ecu
with tuning this is a 550 - 600 hp setup with proper fueling
Upon removal I noticed a small chip in one of the exhuast site fins
So I sent the turbo off for rebuild by Majestic Turbo's of Texas (they are one of the best)
Polished Turbo has zero miles on rebuild with new wheel
It 61mm cold side with an .86 A/R. It's got a 3" air inlet and 2.5" air outlet.
It's got an internal wastegate with a downpipe that
attatches to the hot side of the turbo with 4 bolts.
This is not some crappy ebay chinese copy with junk turbo, this is Sound Performance and Garrett.
This is a great budget upgrade to get you off USDM or JDM twins
and is a sweet way to go single with your custom Motor swap Project.
Then save up and upgrade your fuel system for a little more power
and then larger turbo setup later when you got all the rest figured out / supported.

Mitsubishi revamps U.S. strategy
Mon, 24 Jan 2011Mitsubishi plans a different U.S. model lineup and a new production strategy for its assembly plant in Normal, Ill., as it shifts emphasis away from regionally focused vehicles to global small cars, hybrids and electrics.
