Ford Galaxy MPV spied stateside
Tue, 28 Aug 2012Autoweek reader and frequent spy-shot contributor Spencer Abbott sends these photos of what appears to be a Ford Galaxy MPV -- or minivan, as we typically call the vehicles stateside -- testing in metropolitan Detroit. The Galaxy received a facelift in 2010, and that appears to be what we're seeing in these photos. Your guess is as good as ours as to why the vehicle was out and about near Ford's Dearborn, Mich., headquarters.
Fiat chief tours Chrysler headquarters

CEO Sergio Marchionne and a team of Fiat senior executives visited Chrysler LLC headquarters in Auburn Hills, Mich., on Saturday morning, according to a letter to Chrysler employees from CEO Bob Nardelli. The Fiat team visited a display of vehicles in Chrysler's design dome and met with Nardelli; Tom LaSorda, co-president; Frank Klegon, executive vice president of product development; Frank Ewasyshyn, executive vice president of manufacturing, and other executives.
Lamborghini Aventador deliveries may be delayed
Wed, 06 Jun 2012Lamborghini's factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, survived the recent earthquakes in the region undamaged. Production at the factory has resumed but deliveries of Lamborghini's 691-hp Aventador may be delayed because of supplier troubles. The initial sequence of earthquakes struck the Modena province of northern Italy on May 20 and was followed by another series of tremors on May 29.
