Wed, 20 May 2009By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 20 May 2009 12:15 CAR Magazine's new July 2009 issue of CAR Magazine is now on sale. This magazine has a Nurburgring slant to it, as we end the pub argument once and for all: which is faster around the 'Ring, the Porsche 911 or Nissan GT-R? Plus we drive all the month's key debutants and bag a handful of exclusive stories you won't read anywhere else.
Hyundai Veloster Turbo gets cheaper
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Hyundai are set to launch an additional model of the Velsoter Turbo to sit below the Turbo SE for around £2 less. With the regular Hyundai Veloster starting at £18k and the Velsoter Turbo at £22k, Hyundai has worked out there’s a middle ground price point – can you guess what it is? So to fill that gap (yes, it’s a £20k entry point) Hyundai are to launch the bog-standard Veloster Turbo (without the SE badge) which will lose some of the equipment but, as far as we can see, keep the butch cosmetic bits on the exterior.
Aston Martin teases new car – could this be the ‘Final Edition’ V12 Vantage? (video)
Sat, 25 May 2013This tease image from the Aston Martin video appears to show a V12 Vantage outline We reported recently that Aston Martin had told its dealers to stop taking orders for the V12 Vantage Coupe, which we took to mean the Vantage is coming to the end of its shelf life, at least in its current iteration. But a tease video Aston Martin has released for a new car perhaps – ‘Coming Soon’ – points to a final edition version of the V12 Vantage Coupe before it gets put out to grass. The video (below) does show what appears to be a V12 Vantage; it’s the right shape, it has bonnet vents, bits of carbon fibre and an exhaust that sounds about right.
