New Vauxhall Astra (2010) – the Tease

Tue, 12 May 2009

The new Vauxhall Astra - teased ahead of a launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show [ad#ad-1] You’d think Vauxhall would have better things to do with the current GM mess than torment buyers with teaser shots of the new Vauxhall Astra. But, just like every other car maker lately, they seem to think that this is the way to lead-in to a launch. Vauxhall Adam (& Opel Adam): GM’s new ‘MINI’ in Europe

Tue, 08 May 2012

It’s been known as the Opel ‘Junior’ (and, of course, Vauxhall ‘Junior’ for the UK) as it’s been blatting round roads camouflaged with swirly paint and bolt-on panels. But now it has a name, and the name is Adam (we also got the Adam ‘writing’ out its own name on the roads of Frankfurt in a rather odd introduction to the new ‘Mini’ car – video below).

This McLaren F1 sold for $10 million The price of the McLaren F1 keeps on rising, and just last year F1 chassis #66 was sold by Gooding and Co in the US for a then record-breaking £5.42 million. But that record seems to have been broken. Ferrari specialists DK Engineering in Hertfordshire have just spent six months tracking down an F1 for a British buyer, culminating in chassis #28 being sold for a reported £6.2 million ($10 million).
