Artega SE & GT (2011) at the Geneva motor show

German sports car maker Artega brought the current GT and the SE, an electric version of the obscure man’s Cayman, to the 2011 Geneva motor show. Artega… remind me who they are again? Artega was founded in 2006 in Dalbruch, Germany with the involvement of Karl Heinz Kalbfell, a well-known industry executive formerly of BMW, Rolls-Royce, Alfa Romeo and Maserati (he’s now at Lotus).

Design Sevices: MCE Design Workshops

Independent design studio Motorcity Europe (MCE) is launching another series of two- and five-day design workshops aimed at broadening the skills, experience and job prospects of anyone working - or looking to work - within the field of automotive design. Based on the massive success of the MCE Summer Seminars, these follow up workshops in February 2010 will be an intensely improved version, open to all skill levels of design. With overtones of the Audi R8 supercar about its visage, the GT4 Stinger is a rear-wheel drive coupe driven by a punchy 315hp turbocharged engine. Kia is a major player in the US, and this GT4 concept car is designed to worm its way into the affections of American enthusiasts.
