Location:

Brillion, Wisconsin, US
:

This listing is for three vintage EMPTY Pyrene fire extinguishers. Description to follow but first please note I can't always ship things out right away, sometimes it can take a week before I can send a package so if that's an issue please contact me first.  There's one old brass hand pump one that says "Automobile Type" on it, that one has a dent in it at the tag.  Pretty sure if you popped the tag off, straightened the tag out and put it back on, you'd barely be able to see the dent.  Still pumps fine.  There's another one with a plastic or bakelite top and a pushbutton which looks newer, and a third, slightly bigger one that appears to be stainless steel and includes the mounting bracket.  Popular accessory for period correct race cars or to make into overflow tanks, ect.  All three together for one bid.

Everything is as shown, as-is.  Please be patient with the shipping of these items.  I can't always ship out parts immediately after the auction ends.  Sometimes it can take a week or two for shipping.  If this is a problem and you need something right away, be sure to let me know right away and I'll do what I can.

Shipping for this item will be $19 anywhere in the continental US, International bidders, please email me for a quote.  You are welcome to pick this up at my shop near Brillion, Wisconsin if you're in the area.    Feel free to email me with any questions.   Be sure to see my other auctions for more parts, and thanks for looking.

Google reveals its first self-driving car prototype (video)

Wed, 28 May 2014

Google’s first self-driving car prototype (pictured) Google might not be the first company that springs to mind as a car maker, but Tesla has already proved that Silicon Valley can produce a car that buyers want and Google are intent on following a similar route. But where Tesla’s USP is its long-range electric capabilities – and a desire to build cars for the market – Google’s goal is more technology orientated and is all about developing self-driving car technology that works in the real world. For the last few years, Google has been experimenting with existing cars kitted out with self-driving gubbins, but now they’ve taken the next step and built their own self-driving prototype.
