The adhesive on our "velcro type" hook and loop fastener is rubber based. For best results bonding is recommended at a temperature of 60 - 75 F.

PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE "HI TEMP" PS Hook and Loop Tape is a high temperature resistance, high performance pressure sensitive coating designed to bond hook and loop fasteners to a variety of substrates such as aluminum, stainless steel, painted metal, glass, polycarbonate, abs plastic, polystyrene, polyamides, rigid pvc, phenolic-malamine, etc..
Typical physical properties of 1" wide tape bonded to aluminum are:
1. Peel Adhesion (PSTC-1) 100 oz/inch
2. Shear Adhesion (Modified PSTC-7) Creep for 1" x 1" bonded area with 1 lb. load
Creep at room temperature none-- Temperature for 1/16" Creep 300 F
3. Tensile Load (1" x 1" area) 6.5 - 10 lbs
4. Useful Service Range 0 F to 158 F
Surface must be cleaned and dry, preferably with a solvent, before bonding.
Our hook and loop fastener is cut from the rolls pictured and individually packaged.

And now we’re getting the STI version. The Subaru WRX STI will debut next week at the Detroit Auto Show and is expected to go on sale in the US by mid 2014.
Hyundai ix35 Hydrogen FCEV arrives in the UK
Fri, 19 Jul 2013The first Hyundai ix35 Hydrogen FCEVs hit the road in London (pictured) The Hyundai ix35 FCEV is the world’s first hydrogen powered production car (although production is very limited at the moment) and the first five ix35 FCEVs are about to hit London’s roads. The hydrogen-powered ix35s are part of the London Hydrogen Network Expansion (LNHE) project which aims to build acceptance of hydrogen powered vehicles and build a proper hydrogen transport infrastructure, initially on London and the south east. Hyundai are actually planning to build 1,000 ix35 FCEVs over thye next couple of years, but the majority of those will be heading for Europe where the EU has a number of projects running to promote hydrogen use for road vehicles.
