300zx Z32 Drum Brake Assemblies - Everything Included + Extra Backing Plate on 2040-parts.com

Selling the right and left side e-brake-drum assembly parts for the Z32 300ZX already taken apart for you. These are necessary for those of you converting to the 300ZX e-brake setup. Comes with the backing plates used to hold the assembly together (plus an extra backing plate that is a bit bent, which can be fixed with pliers or a little hammering with a hammer or mallet). I also have a pair of anchors, which are necessary to hold the whole e-brake-drum assembly together. One anchor is thicker than the other and the reason for that is because the thick one came from a 300ZX (NON-TURBO) hub that did not have the extra tab that the 300ZX turbo hub comes with. So for example, the hub on the right has the tab (for the thinner anchor) and the hub on the left has no tab (for the thicker anchor): http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w19/tacobellman_2007/Z32_zps260b1eab.jpg You will simply need to use a spacer with the thinner anchor. It will look like this: http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w19/tacobellman_2007/Z32b_zps8f85caa6.jpg Just to help you out, use a spacer with an inside diameter of about 3/4" and the length/height of the spacer should be about 7/16" Also, you will need to drill a hole in one of the pair of backing plates (unless you use the third backing plate I'm throwing in for free, which already has the hole) so that the torx bolt from the thicker anchor can go through. 2011 VW Jetta gets launched
Tue, 15 Jun 2010The 2011 Volkswagen Jetta Volkswagen reckons that this latest Jetta is no longer a Golf with a boot to make a saloon but is instead a completely new stand-alone model, even though under its new skin – inspired by the VW NCC (New Compact Coupe) concept at New York this year – it sits on a stretched (by 70mm) Golf platform. To make the Jetta stand apart from its Golf sibling VW has fitted the Jetta with an all new dashboard with aluminium highlights and a leather trimmed steering wheel. All Jettas will come equipped with AirCon and CD stereo with touchscreen SatNav an option.
Lexus CT 200h and F Sport refreshed for 2014
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Lexus has taken the wraps off a refreshed 2014 CT 200h at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China, updating the car for the first time since its debut as a 2011 mode, and it'll also be appearing at the LA Auto Show today. The biggest visual change is of course the addition of the new corporate front fascia which Lexus refers to as the "spindle grille." Other changes on the outside include a choice of new 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels featuring a ten-spoke design. The CT 200h has also been treated to redesigned rear bumper, the most noticeable changes being the black lower center section, and L-shaped reflector housings.
Paul Walker to be recreated through CGI for 'Fast & Furious 7'
Mon, 24 Mar 2014Paul Walker's character will make an appearance in the next "Fast & Furious" film thanks to scenes filmed before his death and computer-generated doubles of the actor. Several sources are reporting that at least four body doubles of Walker have also been involved in the film's ongoing production since filming resumed in late January, after several weeks of evaluations and rewrites by the studio. Approximately half of the photography involving Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, had been shot at the time of Walker's death in Porsche Carrera GT alongside Roger Rodas, his friend and business partner, over Thanksgiving weekend in November of 2013.
