Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse 'Legends' series honors Ettore's son, Jean Bugatti

Gianroberto Carlo Rembrandt Ettore Bugatti was the other Ettore, the eldest of Bugatti's four sons; when he wasn't spreading the full magnificence of his five names, they called him Jean. He was arguably the most talented of Ettore's sons -- as it turns out, none of Ettore's other children invented the Type 57SC Atlantic nor designed as much as he did of the astonishing Royale. He took over Bugatti in 1936, at the tender age of 27 -- and three years later he would be dead, having crashed a Type 57 race car during testing.

The new four-door (well, six if you could the two-piece rear opening) is the first Mini to have two sets of cabin doors, and will offer the same range of three- and four-cylinder engines as the rest of the range. Just as the Fiat 500 range is expanding in terms of size, doors and oddity, the Mini family is growing too.  While officially it’s a concept, given the brand’s history of production ready showcars, you won’t have to squint too hard – or at all – for the road-going version.

Mini Rocketman concept

Mini is set to hark back to the brand's heritage at the 2011 Geneva show. Tapping into more than just the name, the Rocketman concept car is a diminutive city car that measures in at just over three meters in length. The Rocketman is said to be a response to 'the fundamental requirements of mobile lifestyles in big cities'.
