Outboard motor carts are a great solution for maintenance and storage of your boat motor. All motor carts have a 1" steel tubular frame with a black paint coating. The frame sits on pneumatic tires. Outboard motor hangers rest on a 1 1/2" thick synthetic block which will hold up to corrosive materials such as gas or oil. The carts have soft ergonomic handles which can be folded down by loosening the side bolts. MOT test gets tougher for diesels
Wed, 11 Dec 2013THE MOT TEST for cars with diesel engines is set to become much tougher from February 2014 due to new rules about exhaust filters. Diesel-engined cars fitted with an exhaust filter as standard when new will now be checked to make sure it is still present. Any car found to have had the filter removed will be automatically failed and required to have a new filter fitted.

On the way to the fully autonomous car, car makers will be offering stages on the way as the ability of cars to be self-controlling moves along, and Ford are heading in that direction with their new systems for parking and obstacle avoidance. Ford are running prototypes with Fully Assisted Parking, a system that manages to sense a space, control the steering, gearbox and brakes to park the car at the touch of a button, even if the driver isn’t actually in the car.
Michelin design contest inspires young minds
Tue, 04 Dec 2012The College for Creative Studies in Detroit held its 24th Michelin Design challenge, in which Michelin sponsors a design and development project for one of CCS' transportation design classes. The competition works like this: CCS and Michelin get together to develop a theme, then CCS picks which transportation design class will work on the project. The idea, Michelin says, is to celebrate and promote the kind of vehicle design that highlights original thinking and innovation.
