An example is shift knobs which were molded slightly oblong, or don’t seat squarely at a 90 degree angle to the shift rod. We made every effort to document every last imperfection, but we may have missed something. All items sold as is, and may not have minor parts such as shift adapter nuts, but if that was missing, please let us know, rather than returning it (or leaving negative feedback), we could always send one out. That said, I personally sealed the last hundred, and I recall about 3 missing it. We have since found more, so just let us know! Also, we review every item we leave feedback for, please remember to leave us positive feedback as well, and in the event of an issue, give us a chance to remedy it. Most issues can be resolved in 48-72 hours, please allow us an additional 48 hours after the weekend to respond, or 72 hours after a holiday weekend, such as Labor Day, where we are closed for three days, AND have more volume of orders than usual. Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid: Production underway
Mon, 19 Nov 2012The world’s first production plug-in diesel hybrid – the Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid – has gone in to production ahead of customer deliveries. Volvo are producing just 1,000 2013 V60 plug-ins, but are aiming to up production to between 4-6,000 a year from the 2014 model year and, despite the problems of integrating the V60′s complicated electric stuff in to a production car, the V60 plug-in is rolling down the same production line as the regular V60, V70, S80 and XC90. That complicated stuff includes two different powertrains and a battery pack – enough for up to 32 miles as an EV only – and a total of 300 additional parts compared to a regular ICE V60.

GM donates Insignia prototype to Coventry University

Recognizing the burgeoning talent at one of the UK's leading design schools, the British arm of the American automotive giant recently offered car design students from Coventry's School of Art & Design an Insignia prototype, which will be used for 'real life' styling exercises. "We are delighted that Vauxhall has chosen to donate this vehicle to the university for our students to work with.
