This is a used set of 340292 turbo casting heads. Gm sold these as off the shelf race heads. They never used them on production cars. From what I've read the valves are either 2.02 or 2.05. They are 64cc and I believe the runners are 180cc. They were on my friends 355 sbc. These heads with a small hydraulic flat tappet cam could almost keep up with my 12 second flat camaro. I'm not sure if they are ported or the factory runners are just really nice. They are nice and smooth like a port job. He spun a bearing so he is parting out the engine to raise money for a crate engine. These heads have 7/16 studs. They seem to flow good and they ran much better than I was expecting. Would be perfect for another 355 or 383 build. Good price and performance.

Now Porsche catches the SUV Coupe bug with plans for a Cayenne Coupe

Tue, 06 May 2014

Porsche are planning a coupe version of the next Cayenne (current Turbo S pictured) No one thought the BMW X6 would sell; after all, who would want an SUV with a compromised coupe roofline? But it seems plenty of buyers do – the BMW X6 sells at twice the rate BMW predicted – which is why we’re getting an X6 clone in the new Mercedes GL Coupe – likely to be the Mercedes MLC – heading for a Mercedes showroom near you sometime soon after being previewed by the Mercedes Concept Coupe. Now, Porsche are apparently playing the SUV Coupe game with plans for a coupe version of the next generation Cayenne in 2018, according to Autocar, to make sure BMW and Mercedes don’t have things all their own way.
