Porsche 356 engine offered at no reserve. In 1990 this engine was taken out of my 1961 356 and replaced with a 912 and stored in a climate controlled garage. When the engine was taken out it was running with no problems. Engine turns over by hand and has Zenith carbs and original Knecht air cleaners. Although probably could be used as is, I would recommend a complete freshening up. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer but I will be happy to crate the motor for your shipping company to pick up and help in any way I can. Local pick up Ok. Please call or email with any questions. Ron 818-999-1954. |

Ferrari Galleria showcases racing history
Mon, 03 Jan 2011It's cold in Maranello, Italy, and the crowds at the Ferrari Museum are at their smallest. It is more properly called Galleria because this small display is not designed to be a comprehensive museum, with row after row of rare Ferraris. Instead, it's a shrine to passion and is quite unique in the auto world.
Driven: Ford Flex
Fri, 26 Dec 2008When Ford unveiled the Fairlane concept in 2005, the company attempted to "rewrite the people mover story", according to Group Vice President of Design and Chief Creative Officer, J Mays. The Minivan, once the symbol of suburban America, had fallen out of favor - its dowdy, "soccer mom" image eschewed in exchange for upscale, aggressive SUVs. According to Mays, the idea with the Fairlane was to "move people emotionally as well as physically", something few minivans had done before.
