This is a new Schauer Golf Cart Battery Charger.  This charger is a 36 Volt 20 Amp fully automatic (completes the charge cycle and goes to "float" charge) charger.  This charger operates on standard household power (117VAC 60 Hz) but can also operate on 240 Volts 50 or 60 Hz power.  This charger is front panel switch selectable for either "Flooded" (normal lead acid batteries that have caps for checking liquid level) or the AGM type (Sealed) batteries.

NOTE ABOUT CONNECTORS:  This charger has the SB-50 type connector (See Picture).  The charger is available with other types of connectors in my other auctions.  Please note that all other connectors are more expensive than this SB-50 type connector.

ABOUT SHIPPING:  All of our chargers are in stock at our place of business in Russellville, AR and usually ship same day or next day depending on when the charger is paid for.  Payment is to be by Paypal or Credit Card by phone.  Shipping will be FREE inside the US lower 48 states.  There will be an additional charge of $25.00 for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico and the charger will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail to those locations.  Customers outside the US, please see the shipping calculator for a shipping quote.

APO/FPO customers please contact me before purchase to get a shipping quote for shipment by Military Mail.  Also, please be aware that customs requires me to provide your phone number when I ship to APO/FPO addresses.

PAYMENT:  Payment is to be by Paypal or Credit Card directly by phone.

WARRANTY: This charger has an 18 month from date of purchase warranty from the Manufacturer.  Full contact information for the Manufacturer and for us is always included with the charger.  If warranty service is needed during the warranty period, the customer should contact the manufacturer, Schauer Battery Charger Company, to get information on how to send the charger in for repair.  The customer will be responsible for shipping to Schauer and Schauer will pay shipping for returning the charger to the customer inside the US.  Customers outside the US will have to pay for shipping both ways for warranty service.

NOTE TO OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US or CANADA: This charger operates on 100 to 240 Volts AC, 50 or 60hz. If your power is 240 Volts AC at 50 hz, no changes need to made to this charger to have it operate on that power. We will be shipping this charger with AC Power Cord for use in the United States or Canada. If your country uses a different AC Power Mains Plug, you will need to obtain that Mains Plug and install it in place of the US plug. Or, there are adapters made for conversion from the US standard plug to other countries standard plugs.

RETURNS:  Ebay now requires sellers to state a return policy.  The only options are to state "Returns Accepted" or Returns Not Accepted".  Well, we had to change to "Returns Not Accepted" because of abuse of the return policy.  Over the years, we have had few returns and in most cases, a simple phone call solved the problem with an explanation of how the product worked.  We still have a liberal return policy, but there are some qualifications on that policy.  For instance, just sending the product back without any prior communication is not acceptable.  Ordering a battery charger to check to see if your old one is really bad or the problem is somewhere else, with plans to return the new charger is not acceptable.  Most questions about whether the charger is the right one for your use can be worked out in advance before the purchase.  If you need more information about our products, you can call me at 479-967-1542.

TWO Koenigsegg One:1 on video at Goodwood

Fri, 27 Jun 2014

Both Koenigsegg One:1s on video at Goodwood As we’ve already reported, the Koenigsegg One:1 is debuting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, but rather than a single One:1, Koenigsegg have taken the only two One:1s in existence – yes, it’s two for the price of one at Goodwood. One car – the black one in the photo above – is a new One:1 heading for a customer, but the second (the silver can in the photo and video) is Koenigsegg’s development car, so that’s up for a bit of action on the hillclimb this weekend. But ahead of its public appearance, Goodwood managed to get some time with the One:1s andĀ grab track timeĀ behind the wheel.

Low-emissions Chevrolet Volt models shipped to California

Thu, 23 Feb 2012

Californians won't have to wait much longer to take their Chevrolet Volts in high-occupancy vehicle lanes. General Motors began shipping a special version of the range-extended sedan to the state this week. The cars will arrive with a special Low Emissions package that makes it legal to drive them in the Golden State's carpool lanes.

Project Car Hell, Homely but Lovable Edition: Triumph Mayflower or Frazer Vagabond?

Thu, 29 May 2014

Welcome back to Project Car Hell, where those little carburetor screws always disappear down the intake and all the parts you need are hoarded by bitter curmudgeons in Alaskan survivalist shacks. The Hell Garage Demons have come to the realization that the ugly cars of the early postwar era just don't get enough restoration love these days, and so they've taken a break from their day jobs (boiler-room managers for a major telemarketing firm) in order to scour the List of Craig for a pair of suitably homely machines from the 1946-1954 period. There were many to choose from, but they've found a couple of appropriate cars made on opposite sides of the Atlantic.
