Jaguar Academy of Sport signs up athletes galore
Wed, 21 Jul 2010Jaguar Academy of Sport held the first of many ceremonies in London this week – and signed up 35 young British athletes with cheques and certificates to help develop their sporting talent.The academy was launched in March 2010 and is designed to nurture young British sporting talent by offering a bursary to athletes between the ages of 14-24. Evans blew €7,040,000 on the black sports car, the thirteenth of just 56 built. It was the inspiration for Ferrari's latest 2+2 GT, the new California unveiled in May 2008.The car was sold at this weekend's second annual Ferrari Leggenda e Passione event at Maranello, the specialist auction of all things Ferrari and Maserati.
