MY FATHER -IN-LAW OWNED A WRECKING YARD YEARS AGO-- IN THE 80'S -- HE AND I PULLED THIS MOTOR OUT OF A 1957 CHRYLSER IMPERIAL CAN'T SAY FOR SURE IT CAME IN THAT CAR WHEN NEW --- ITS WAS RUNNING WHEN THE CAR CAME IN TO THE JUNK YARD -- ACCORDING TO CHRYSLER RECORDS-THIS WAS THE RIGHT MOTOR FOR THAT CAR WHICH REALLY DOEN'T MEAN MUCH OF ANYTHING IT IS A 392 HEMI HAS BEEN SITTING IN MY GARAGE EVER SINCE I HAD 3 NOW DOWN TO 2 CLEANING OUT SPARE PARTS AS YOU CAN SEE I SAVED ALMOST EVERY PART THAT WAS ON IT SO I WOULD GUESS IT AT LEAST 98 PERCENT THERE THIS WOULD MAKE A PEREFECT MOTOR FOR SOMEONE WHO IS RESTORING A 1957 CHRYSLER THE BLOCK IS STAMPED CE 571468 HEADS ARE 17315281 I CAN'T EVER REMEMBER EVER TAKING ANYTHING OFF OF IT BUT IT'S BEEN ALONG TIME SETTING IN MY CLIMATE CONTROLLED GARAGE BUT ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE NOT GOING TO GIVE IT AWAY ,IT CAN SET FOR ANOTHER 20 PLUS YEARS SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WILL NOT SHIP DUE TO THE WEIGHT AND ALL THE PARTS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR 1962 CORVETTE PARTS WILL NOT TAKE PAY PAL CASH IN HAND WHEN PICKED UP ONLY YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME SEE MOTOR BUT MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO DO SO NOTE THE HEMI PARTS SHOW IN THE PICTURE GO WITH THE 392 HEMI GENERATOR -STARTER-AIR CONDITIONING PUMP- TRANS ADAPATOR-STARTERPULLEYS- EXHAUST MANIFOLDS-FAN-AND MORE -PARTS THAT YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES LAYING ON THE CARD BOARD SOME ARE FROM MY OTHER MOTOR BUT HAVE NO USE FOR THEM SO THEY GO WITH THE SALE--- BUT NOT THE WILLYS DECK LID-OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT MIGHT BE LAYING AROUND AND GOT INTO A PICTURE BY MISTAKE---NOTE #2--- MOTOR HASN'T RUN SINCE TAKEN OUT OF CAR BUT YOU CAN TURN IT OVER WITH A WRENCH----------AGAIN YOU ARE ONLY BIDDING ON THE 392- AND THE PARTS THAT CAME WITH IT----HOPE THIS CLEARS UP ANY MISTAKES CAUSED BY ME GETTING SOMETHING ELSE IN PICTURES-- PARTS TO HEAVY TO MOVE AROUND TO MAKE SURE NOTHING SHOWS BUT HEMI PARTS---OLD MAN AND NOT GOOD AT THIS SORT OF THING HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND

Arabian horse inspires bespoke Rolls Royce Phantom Mirage [w/gallery]
Thu, 29 Mar 2012Rolls-Royce has created a bespoke Phantom Coupé named Mirage, inspired by the powerful Arabian stallion of the same name that became famous during the 1920s and ‘30s. The one-off car, designed for the United Arab Emirates market, features a matte black exterior with horse's head incorporated into its coachline detail, a motif that continues into the Mugello Red and black interior. There is also silver detailing such as the rope inlay on the front fascia and door capping.

Underlining the importance of this event to the automotive industry, and the importance and weight the automotive field now carries in the consumer electronics sphere, Alan Mulally – President and CEO of Ford motor company – was part of a three-person panel exploring how companies innovate, cope with failure and the relentless pace of change in the electronics world. Mulally was joined by Ursula Burns, Chairman and CEO of Xerox Corporation and John Stratto, Enterprise Executive at Verizon, the US telecoms company.
