New Audi A8 Hybrid at Frankfurt – on sale in 2012
Wed, 24 Aug 20112012 Audi A8 Hybrid arrives at Frankfurt Audi turned up at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012 – just a few months after the launch of the New A8 – with a fully-featured concept of an Audi A8 Hybrid. At the time we expected them to roll out the A8 with hybrid gubbins by the end of 201, but that didn’t happen. Now, Audi are bringing the A8 Hybrid to the Frankfurt Motor Show next month in full production guise, ready to go on sale in 2012.
Renault replaces Scenic with Renault Scenic XMOD Crossover
Mon, 04 Feb 2013The Renault Scenic is no more, to be replaced by a rufty-tufty crossover with a raised ride height called the Renault Scenic XMOD. But Renault think they have the answer to the problem and are following the lead of partner Nissan – who junked their mainstream cars and replaced them with crossovers (step forward the Qashqai and Juke) – by dumping the Scenic andĀ replacingĀ it with the Scenic XMOD. The Renault Scenic XMOD isn’t a new car, but the Scenic with a facelift, raised ride height, butch bolt on bits and a nod to 4WD with a new Grip Xtend Traction control system.
