However, its latest effort is something a little different. Not quite a conventional performance car, the 2013 Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo is actually the world’s fastest diesel production car, according to the firm.

The styling seems to follow the E- and S-class with hints of the CLA-class as well; the sport model wears its badge in the grille, while the luxury model opts for a hood ornament. The 2015 C-class will launch in the fall of 2014.
