THESE SPINNERS AND TOWERS ARE MADE TO FIT VEHICLES WITH A 4 LUG BOLT PATTERN. THAT WOULD INCLUDE SOME ATV VEHICLES.

THE ALL THREAD IS 5/16 INCH IN DIAMETER. THE INSIDE DIAMETER OF THE ROUND PART OF THE SPINNER IS 3 INCHES. THE 3 STRAIGHT BARS ARE 2 INCHES IN LENGTH. THE INDENTION ON THE TOP PART OF THE SPINNER IS 1 ¾ INCHES. THAT IS A COMMON SIZE FOR EMBLEMS.

AS FAR AS I KNOW, THE BASES WILL FIT ALL 4 LUG AFTERMARKET WHEELS THAT REQUIRE CAPS THAT INSTALL FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL. THESE SPINNERS AND BASES WILL NOT FIT FACTORY WHEELS. IF IN DOUBT E-MAIL THE MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF YOUR VEHICLE.

These spinners are a popular wheel accessory, that allows you to replace the plain center cap on many wheels (wheels that require center caps that install from behind the wheel) with a spinner look. This gives an entirely different look to the wheels. Included in the kit are 4 each of the following components: Chrome 3 bar straight spinners, derby style spinner bases, center screws, and allen head set screws to install these spinners.

THE CENTER SCREW ATTACHES THE SPINNER TO THE TOWER. THE SET SCREW INSTALLS UNDER ONE OF THE WINGS OF THE SPINNER TO LOCK IT IN PLACE. A WRENCH IS PROVIDED FOR THE SET SCREW.

Note that being an aftermarket spinner kit, these bases requires a 2.68 outside diameter or larger wheel center hole for the towers to go through. If in doubt measure the center cap hole on the front side of the wheel.

You need to measure the FRONT center cap hole ON THE WHEEL precisely and see if it is 2.68 INCHES OR LARGER.

The height of this spinner base is 2 5/8 INCHES tall and looks appropriate on both steel and aluminum aftermarket custom wheels.

The design of this particular spinner base is not made to use with wheels requiring front snap caps. They replace those center caps on aftermarket wheels using a cap that installs from the backside of the wheel.

THE ROUND INDENTION ON THE TOP OF THE SPINNER HAS A 1.75 INCH DIAMETER.

PLEASE NOTE--These bases WILL NOT fit any factory wheels. Factory wheels do not provide enough clearance between front hubs for these towers to clear. This spinner kit works well on either steel or aluminum aftermarket custom wheels that utilize a push through center cap. There are a few exceptions to any rule, but this set replaces the most popular size of wheel center cap that have been around for the last 40 years.

McLaren Automotive's U.S.-born managing director, Antony Sheriff, is expected to be absent from the launch of the P1 hypercar at Geneva next week because he is on extended leave from the company. No reason for Sheriff's absence has been given, although McLaren is at pains to point out that he is “still employed as McLaren Automotive's managing director.” Rumors were circulating about Sheriff's absence from Woking in January, but company spokesmen back then stressed that he was still employed by McLaren and would unveil the P1 at Geneva. Despite those assurances, sources had reported earlier in the year that Sheriff “hadn't been seen in his office” for some days.
