Mitsubishi ASX Black launches - with satin black styling upgrades It’s just over a year since we reviewed the Mitsubishi ASX, Mitsubishi’s new offering in the compact SUV / crossover market. And we thought it a decent effort from Mitsubishi, if a little generic and a little bland. So the news that Mitsubishi has launched a new version of the ASX – the Mitsubishi ASX Black – is welcome, as its upgrades answer many of the criticisms we levelled at the 2WD ASX 3 1.8 Diesel we reviewed last year.

Infiniti JX Concept - the tease ends We bit the bullet when Infiniti got to tease two of the Infiniti JX Concept, and we’ve managed to stick with it all the way through until this, tease six – the final piece of the jigsaw. Well, apart from the interior, that is, but we’ll have to wait until Pebble for that. This time Infiniti tease us with the only view we haven’t had so far of the JX - the front three quarters.

AutoWeek's Keith Crain receives Mercedes Star Driver award

AutoWeek editor-in-chief Keith Crain recently received the Star Driver award from Mercedes-Benz, an honor that recognizes an individual who has made great contributions to motorsports and the automobile industry. Crain, shown at left with Geoff Day, director of communications at Mercedes-Benz USA, is the sixth recipient of the Star Driver honor. He joins the ranks of Sir Stirling Moss, John Fitch, Jochen Mass, Jesse Alexander and AutoWeek senior contributing editor Denise McCluggage.
