Fowlerville, Michigan, United States
Condition:Used Warranty:No

Up for auction is a 428 Cobra Jet block. It seems to be stock bore at 4.13 and looks like it has honed. It does have the C scratch on the back of block. It also has 428 in the center freeze plug. There is no casting number on the block. The date code is 0C18. So it is a 1970 block. It looks like it has new cam bearings in it. I do not know the history of the block. It does have a crack across the pan rail but I do not think it will affect anything or it can be repaired. Very nice block for your restoration. It will be local pickup unless you set up shipping to have it picked up I can put it on a pallet for you.Selling as is.

One day before the International Consumer Electronics Show opened its doors in Las Vegas, Toyota took the wraps off the highest-tech Lexus LS ever made. The car -- with spinning sensors and probing lasers galore -- is meant to demonstrate safety features that could be coming to production cars someday soon. Called the Advanced Safety Research Vehicle, it sure looked like some of the autonomous self-driving vehicles we saw at the DARPA Challenge, but Toyota stressed that a robot car is not the goal.
