2012 Audi Q5 Facelift – first photos
Sun, 22 Apr 20122012 Audi Q5 Facelift - but you need to look hard The Audi Q5 is getting a facelift – although you’ll need to look hard to spot it – and will be revealed at Beijing tomorrow. We had wondered if we’d see a concept of the Audi Q5 Cabriolet at Beijing as Audi rushes to match the Evoque’s niche offering of a drop-top SUV. MG Icon concept
Wed, 18 Apr 2012The MG Icon concept will be unveiled at the Beijing motor show next week in order to test public reaction to a small crossover, as well as suggesting a new design direction for the brand. Similar in size to the Nissan Juke, the Icon – as its name suggests – plays on MG's back catalogue of classic cars, something the company hasn't done since its takeover by Nanjing and subsequently SAIC in 2005. Despite clearly different proportions the Icon pays homage to the MGB GT sports coupe via its lamp and grille graphics, bumper overriders and fastback tailgate.

Following an initial judging process, the selection for best designs comprised of Simon Tarrant's 'Street Rower'; Nick Rawcliffe's 'Snowbone'; Natalie Daghestani's 'Hylo female commuter shoe'; Steven Spong's ‘Longbow'; and Harley Zblewski's 'Suitcase Car' - a design we first saw at Coventry University's annual Degree Show in June.
