Kia Motors has appointed the man who changed their design – former VW man Perter Schreyer – as President. When Peter Schreyer left VW in 2006 after a sparkling career that saw him establish the Audi design philosophy – still a hallmark of Audi design – to head up design at stodgy Kia, many in the industry thought it an odd move. But Peter Schreyer seemed keen to prove his worth after VW had passed him over to head up their new design studio, and Kia offered the prospect of turning a budget brand in to a mainstream force with cutting edge designs and, it would seem, a pretty free hand to do what it would take.

The Hyundai ix35 - UK price and model detail released Over the weekend we ran a report on the Hyundai ix35 prices that had been released in France, and were a bit surprised at how strong the prices seemed. We did caution that you couldn’t take the French prices and do a straight conversion as UK prices and Euro prices are different, and there was every chance that specifications would be different. Bondurant enters SCCA Hall of Fame

The Sports Car Club of America inducted its new members into the SCCA Hall of Fame on March 8, including racing legend Bob Bondurant. Bondurant joins Kathy Barnes, Dan Gurney, Dr. Bob Hubbard, Jim Downing and Pete Hylton as the class of 2014.
