VW are running a competition to find the best 'Peoples Reviewer' - The next JC? (image copyright Top Gear) But Cars UK aren’t looking for car testers at the moment (although you will be able to submit guest reviews on your car before long), but Volkswagen are – for the new VW Tiguan. They’re running a competition to find the best amateur car reviewer in the UK, which we find quite fascinating.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee UK - Diesel only Interestingly, the pile of blurb we got in from Jeep UK on the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee made the assertion that Jeep “…invented the premium SUV (sport-utility vehicle) segment with the introduction of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.” Really? Still, we have a soft-spot for the big Yank-Tank that is the Jeep Grand Cherokee so we’ll put that statement down to nothing more than a bit of PR hubris, rather than a genuine claim. Much of what we know already about the new Grand Cherokee since it was revealed over a year ago remains unchanged with its arrival in the UK.

The new Citroen C3 1.4 VTi Video A couple of weeks ago we had a Citroen C3 in for review, and were actually rather impressed with what was on offer. True, it doesn’t offer the most dynamic drive in the world, but unless you are after a small car to chuck around with great abandon the comfort on offer in the C3 more than makes up for it. The particular car we had – the Citroen C3 1.4 VTi Exclusive – is the top of the trim tree in the C3 range, offering a lot of toys – such as the Visio panoramic roof, Climate and all-round electric windows – as standard.
