First, This auction "IS NOT" for the mirror, rather the hard to find mounting screw for these mirrors.
If you have been fortunate enough to have one or two of these,Possibly purchased on eBay or salvaged from a distant bone yard, you are probably in need of the mounting screw.
Typically when these mirrors are found on an old FoMoCo vehicles the screw has to be drilled out, and of course they are not readily available at Ace Hardware,
Put your vintage mirror back in use with a new mounting screw.
If you are restoring one of these and have gravel pits in the SS Head ask me how I fixed mine.  The same screw is used on many later FoMoCo Mirrors also

DIY Car Repairs in London

Mon, 11 May 2009

So there should be a bit of a cheer going up in London today as what are believed to be the first DIY garage facilities in Europe open for business in Acton, North London.
