This is a nice quality set of 3 GM NOS Reproduction door lock cylinder retainer clips that securely holds the door lock to the door. These are used in many years of GM cars and trucks so please check your application and match yours to the pictures in the listing. These were also used to hold the trunk lock in the trunk in various years of GM makes, and models but not all. Some models take a special clip for the trunk lock so be sure to match your original ones to the ones listed. These exhibit the same thickness of spring steel with the correct bends and contours as the originals that GM used. You will get exactly what is pictured. The old ones are usually sprung from age and will allow the lock to move in the door which is why it is a must to replace these in a correct restoration. If you need two of these please see my other listings as I have these in sets of two also for people needing only two of the clips. These will fit alot of GM models from 50-90 including but not limited to 62-72 GTO, Lemans, Tempest, Chevelle, Malibu, GS, GSX, Culass, 442, W30, W31, F85 and a lot of other GM models from 1950-1990. GM introduced its new modular family of Ecotec engines on Wednesday at its powertrain headquarters in Pontiac, Mich. The new, reduced-in-size three- and four-cylinder mills will replace three of GM's current engine families, eventually making their way into five of the company's brands. The Ecotec family will eventually spawn 11 engines in total, ranging in displacement from 1.0 liter to 1.5 liters.

BMW's latest internal reshuffle has seen Domagoj Dukec appointed as head of exterior design, Martina Starke as head of color and material design and Oliver Heilmer as head of interior design. Dukec, a Pforzheim graduate, has previously worked for Volkswagen and Citroën where he played a key role in developing a new Citroën aesthetic with the C4 coupé, C5 Airscape, C5 (Mark II), Hypnos and GQ Concept. Since moving to BMW's exterior design team in 2010 he has been credited with the design of the Concept Active Tourer.
