509 Sinister X5 Goggle Compatible Short Strap for Quick Straps

509 Goggle Quick Compatible Short Straps
For people who use the traditional Quick Strap style straps, these compatible straps are what you need. Because our straps are permanently attached to our hinge system, you cannot remove the strap to install Quick Straps as you traditionally would on other goggles. To fix this, we have developed these short, cut to length, open ended compatible straps. They allow you to continue using the Quick Strap setup with our straps and hinge system.

How They Work
First, let's be clear, we are not selling the actual Quick Strap brand hardware. These are ONLY the compatible short straps. You will still need to have the Quick Strap brand buckles and kit.

  • To install our compatible short straps, first remove the lens in your 509 goggles.
  • Fully open the hinge and squeeze the goggle frame together to release the hinge from the frame. Do this on both sides to fully remove the full strap. Place & install the short strap hinges into the goggle frame.
  • Take your existing quick strap hardware and remove the straps they came with. Weave the open end of our short straps into your Quick Strap buckle hardware.
  • That's it. Installation takes about 10 minutes and again requires you already have the Quick Strap kit.

Toyota FT-HS Concept (2007): first official pictures

Sun, 03 Jun 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 03 June 2007 02:33 Toyota FT-HS Concept: the lowdown Salvation for supercar lovers in the 21st century: Toyota has turned its hand to creating a sports coupe with green credentials - and the futuristic FT-HS Concept mixes green with mean rather well, we think. Don't believe us? Well, how about 0-60mph in four seconds and 400bhp from a 3.5-litre V6 hybrid drivetrain - in a car that runs silently on electric power through town, with nothing more troubling than an electric whirr from the quad tailpipes.

Show Review: Salon Privé 2011

Sun, 03 Jul 2011

Salon Privé is billed as Britain's most elite car show and, with its lashings of pink champagne, lobster barbecue and attendees who look to have taken a wrong turn from the UK scripted-reality show, Made in Chelsea, it's certainly the glitziest. This year Salon Privé moved from its traditional home of The Hurlingham Club, just a (precious) stone's throw from the real-life set of the aforementioned show, to the grounds of Syon House in outer West London. Home to the Duke of Northumberland, Syon House's Italian Renaissance architecture and lush grounds provide a fitting background for such an event although those familiar with the locales of Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como, the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the heart of Lord March's idyllic West Sussex estate or the dramatic Californian coastline of Pebble Beach may be disappointed.

Avoid Hurricane Sandy cars with these tips

Tue, 29 Oct 2013

Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast a year ago, and like all storms its size, we're still paying for its unintended consequences today. One of the areas that always gets a boost after a storm like this is the used car market. More than 250,000 cars were damaged by the hurricane, and 50 percent of these will be resold, according to Kars4Kids, the nation's largest car-donation charity.
