This auction is for a piece of quarter trim for '54 Ford cars . Fits two-door models, Customline & Crestline. It is affectionately referred to as a "fishhook", and mounts immediately behind the door. This piece was removed from a salvage car, & has been exposed to smoke, accounting for the patina. It will need a serious polishing, but it is straight & solid.

For the benefit of International buyers, email & we will work with you on shipping, but must resolve details before close of auction; so please do not bid until we are in agreement. New Suzuki Swift Sport (2012) again, but with photos and detail
Tue, 13 Sep 20112012 Suzuki Swift Sport - properly revealed ahead of Frankfurt With Frankfurt rapidly looming we’ll be getting waves of reveals over the coming days (keep that coffee pot bubbling – long days coming), and today’s first offering is a slightly more extensive reveal of the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport than we had last month. The Swift has become a properly decent little car, and we’ve been looking forward to the arrival of the new Swift Sport. Mind you, we were looking forward to it more when we thought it might get 180bhp of Polo GTI goodness under the bonnet.
Porsche Cayenne based Eterniti Artemis production debut
Fri, 09 Nov 2012The Eterniti Artemis – a titivated Porsche Cayenne – is shown in almost production-ready guise before a debut in Asia in 2013. But despite plenty of negatives about the Eterniti Artemis – not least of which are how it looks and how much it costs – Eterniti seem sure they have a market – certainly in Asia – and they’re now showing us what is pretty much the production-ready version of the Artemis (above). Power comes from the same V8 Turbo the Cayenne Turbo gets, but Eterniti have tweaked it to deliver 600bhp and 750Nm of torque, despite which it’s no quicker than the £107k Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
New car registrations continue to rise – up 6.6% in July 2014
Wed, 06 Aug 2014The Ford Fiesta (pictured) topped the UK sales chart again in July 2014 There must come a point (mustn’t there?) when new car sales/registrations slow down in the UK, but there seems little sign of it happening any time soon. For the 29th month in a row, new car registrations in the UK rose again in July 2014, up by 6.6 per cent on the same month in 2013, hitting a total of 172,907. So far in 2014, new car registrations have risen by 10.1 per cent to 1,460,172, with the SMMT predicting that new car registrations for 2014 will end up 8.1 per cent up on 2013 at 2,450,000.
