Condition:Used Brand:Chevrolet Surface Finish:aircraft paint

This tailgate is a 1957 original. In good condition, there are a couple really small dents that are hard to see. The lettering are decals, and are not paint. This tailgate was not used to load equipment, and does not appear to be warped or bent.

There is a minor defect on The lower left corner,  one of the spotwelds apparently from the factory was not hot enough when this part was made.

Someone had attached something to the tailgate in it's past life, and the holes apparently were welded up and filled. There does not appear to be any warpage or distortion from these welds.

In refinishing this tailgate to match your vehicle, when sanding, the areas filled may become apparent during the sanding process, but will sand flat and will not be detected upon repainting.

There does not appear to be any rust or corrosion on this part.

I have tried to be truthful and accurate in my description of this 60 year old part.

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

2012 Hyundai i30 Revealed A couple of weeks ago we were teased with a sketch of the new Hyundai i30 ahead of a planned debut at Frankfurt 2011. But now Hyundai has decided to throw out a few photos of the new i30, and a bit more detail, to keep interest piqued . Looking, certainly from some angles, like a smaller i40 – which is certainly not a criticism – the 2012 i30 brings Hyundai’s Golf-sized offering very much up to date.

Jaguar Land Rover – Clever Finance Deal

Mon, 16 Nov 2009

JLR releases £170 million by financing cars in transit Car makers have been begging lines of credit from wherever they can in the last year as the recession has bitten hard in to their finances. Jaguar Land Rover started off down the Government Loan route, but it soon became clear that the strings attached to any Government sourced finance where unacceptable. But in a sign that the future of JLR looks pretty rosy JLR managed to secure £175 million in private financing back in August as part of a bid to raise £500 million, and Tata have refinanced the loans used to acquire JLR.
