Lexus RC F, RC F Sport & RC F GT3 debut at Geneva Motor Show

The Lexus RC (pictrured) will be joined by the RC F Sport and RC F GT3 at Geneva The Lexus RC F Coupe finally got a reveal at the Detroit Motor Show last month, and it’s going to get its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month alongside another new Lexus – the Lexus RC F GT3. The new RC F looks a promising challenger to cars like the new BMW M4 or the Audi RS 5, with decent looks and the promise of impressive performance from its V8 which develops more than 450bhp. Lexus want us to think that a lot of the RC F’s dynamics are taken from the DNA of the LFA, and if that’s the case the Germans could finally have real competition on their hands from Lexus.

Mercedes E63 AMG S (2013) priced from £83,470

Mercedes has announced the hottest E-class you can buy, the E63 AMG S, will cost from £83,470 in the UK from June 2013. In uprated 'S' guise, the 577bhp/580lb ft exec saloon monster can only be ordered with 4Matic all-wheel drive in left-hand drive markets, but the UK gets only rear-drive cars. Geely at Shanghai 2011: Geely MINI Cooper & Geely London Taxi

Geely's take on the London Cab & MINI Cooper Regular readers – in fact anyone who takes notice of car news – will probably recognise Geely as being the Chinese car maker who bought Volvo in 2010. Proper car anoraks may also remember the ‘Chinese Rolls Royce‘, a Phantom ‘Homage’ from Geely that came equipped with a ‘Throne’ in the back to transport a lone plutocrat. It looked a lot like a Russian cold war ZIL meets cartoon Phantom and there was no mistaking it was a Chinese car for a Chinese market.
