58-59 Chevy Truck Hood Hinges/springs Powder Coated Chrome Apache on 2040-parts.com
Ashland, Kentucky, United States
|
Up for bid is an original used set of 58-59 Chevy truck hood hinges and springs that have been stripped, cleaned, media blasted, chemical prepped and powder coated in ultra high gloss single stage reflective chrome powder. This is a super smooth high quality Eastwood powder coat that is both UV and petroleum resistant.
Whenever applied properly powder coating is more flexible then either paint or true chrome and shouldn't flake or chip off no matter how many times springs are flexed. Simply mist and wipe with a damp cloth to keep their shine for years, no waxing needed ever!! Chrome powder coating has a really high gloss but not quite as bright as true chrome. Hinges are straight, work smooth and springs have good tension. Fitment Guide These were removed from a 59 Chevy half ton truck, they should fit 58-59 model Chevy or GMC trucks. Please look at pictures and ask any questions to verify fitment These would make an excellent addition to your Classic GM truck. Feel free to email with any questions and THANK YOU for looking at my listing. |

Volkswagen Passat CC at Detroit show 2008
Mon, 14 Jan 2008By James Foxall First Official Pictures 14 January 2008 03:26 The Volkswagen Passat CC might look like the bastard offspring of a shady encounter between a Phaeton and a CLS, but the German firm is hoping the new Passat spin-off will attract buyers after premium car style for a relatively affordable price. When it hits UK showrooms in late summer 2008, expect the four-seat, four-door CC – it stands for Comfort Coupe – to have a sticker price starting at around £19,000. This will make it less than half the price of its most affordable rival, the Mercedes CLS.
Volvo confirms big production increase for V60 Plug-in Hybrid
Fri, 17 May 2013Volvo has been building around 150 V60 Plug-ins a week at its facility in Torslanda – alongside the regular V60, V70, S80 and XC90 – but that is now set to be upped to 282 cars a week for the rest of 2013, with plans to build at least 10,000 in 2014. The fact is that the V60 is a very appealing estate car already, and bolting a plug-in hybrid setup has turned it in to a big hit in showrooms because the barking mad official economy and emissions system bestows the V60 plug-in with emissions of just 48g/km, making it a real no-brainer in countries where governments blindly tax cars based on their official emissions. That means countries like Holland, where Volvo has received more than 3,000 orders for the V60 Plug-in, and the UK are lapping up the hybrid offering from Volvo as a way to escape big taxes and still have a swift (0-62mph in 6.1 seconds), appealing and stylish car.
