Our engines are completely rebuilt. The blocks are thoroughly cleaned, magnafluxed and inspected. After passing inspection, they are bored, honed and decked. Crankshafts are first cleaned and magnafluxed, and then polished or ground as needed to be brought back to factory tolerances. Cylinder heads are first thermo-cleaned and magnafluxed, and all guides are inspected and replaced. A complete three angle valve job is next, followed by a precision surface to achieve the correct RA factor, to ensure proper gasket seal. We inspect the connecting rods, replace the bushings and then recondition them to factory tolerances. After all components are ready the engine is reassembled by our professional staff. Our engines are assembled with the head installed, so you will need to install your valve train as well as your injectors. We strongly recommend that you purchase new injectors with the new engine. We also sell injectors at a discounted cost.

New Audi S6 and S6 Avant (2012) Frankfurt Preview
Wed, 31 Aug 2011New Audi S6 and S6 Avant (2012) at Frankfurt Frankfurt 2011 is going to be something of an Audi ‘S’ Fest, with four new 2012 ‘S’ models making a début, including these – the Audi S6 and the Audi S6 Avant. There’s little to choose between the S6 and S6 Avant in performance terms, just as you’d expect, with both cars featuring Audi’s new 4.0 litre TFSI V8 with 420bhp and 406lb/ft of torque (that’s the same V8 we will see in the Bentley Continental GT – and probably at Frankfurt too). That’s enough to take the S6 to 62mph in just 4.8 seconds, with the S6 Avant just the smallest bit behind at 4.9 seconds, and on to an electronically governed 155mph.
It’s the Citroen DS3 Cabrio
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Citroen has revealed the DS3 Cabrio, an open-top version of the very good DS3. Debuts at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. We did expect the Citroen DS3 Cabrio to come with the ‘Airflow’ badge attached, but Citroen has decided to keep it simple, so DS3 Cabrio it is.

Measuring 4920mm long, 1870mm wide, and 1460mm tall, the new A6 is shorter and lower – but wider – than its predecessor, and has a longer, 2910mm wheelbase. The new car also features lighter body panels and improved powertrains.
