Ezy-Glide Stick-III Steering - Model 870

The Ezy-Stick III is a mechanical steering system designed so the operator may be positioned in the front of the boat for better visibility. Designed for boats with limited space. The push-pull design allows the system to be mounted next to the operator located at the front of the boat giving the operator better visibility and convenience. This also eliminates the need for a center console saving valuable space. The Ezy-Stik III model 870 has a quicker ratio which provides a faster response and a shorter travel distance from lock to lock. Due to the fact that 4-stroke engines transfer more negative torque feedback to the operator, if the engine is a 4-stroke over 40hp, the Ezy-Stik model 840 should be considered over the model 870.

Volkswagen Passat TDI Clean Diesel sets fuel economy record

Volkswagen set a new Guinness World Record last week for lowest fuel consumption during an 8,122-mile tour of the lower 48 states in a Volkswagen Passat TDI Clean Diesel, achieving 77.99 mpg during the trip. This new record bested the previous one by about 10 mpg. During this record-setting trip the Passat TDI Clean Diesel also beat the hybrid record by more than 13 miles per gallon.

2012 Hyundai Veloster stickers at $18,060

Hyundai has set the base price of the 2012 Veloster with six-speed manual transmission at $18,060, including destination. The three-door Veloster will also be available with six-speed EcoShift dual-clutch transmission for $19,310. Hyundai says it means for the front-wheel-drive car to appeal to the same group of buyers as the Mini Cooper, the Volkswagen Beetle and the Scion tC.

The Vauxhall Adam Rocks (pictured) ready to roll in to production At last year’s Geneva Motor Show we got the first look at the Vauxhall Adam Rocks Concept, a butch little ADAM with raised ride height, extra cladding and a cabrio roof as Vauxhall attempted to turn their latest city car in to a funky urban Crossover / baby SUV. And the Vauxhall Adam Rocks is back at Geneva this year only this time it’s a production car that should launch later in the summer – and it looks like it should do well. With a ride height raised by 15mm, retuned suspension, extended wheel arches and the required black plastic cladding needed to turn it in to a pseudo off-roader (and 17″ or 18″ alloys) the ADAM Rocks looks the part.
