Boat anchor 6 pounds. It is called a Lightweight or "Danforth" Anchor

Lightweight type anchor with two long pivoting "flukes"; designed to reduce clogging with mud and grass; range from 2.5 pounds to nearly 200 pounds, and are generally made of cast galvanized metal, though some models are machined from a light-weight aluminum composite. When dropped, flukes dig the anchor into the bottom and the anchor buries itself and part of the anchor line.

Commonly used on small recreational boats, as they are relatively light weight for the amount of holding power they provide, especially in comparison to other anchors. Best in hard sand or mud, where flukes can easily dig into the bottom.

Not recommended for very soft or loose mud, which can ball up around the flukes; or on rocky bottoms where the flukes cannot penetrate. Also not recommended for grassy bottoms, which the flukes tend to slip off.

..I am a student trying to make ends meet. I know there are a lot of auctions on EBAY, thanks for looking at mine. I set a low start price and no reserve. Good luck and happy bidding.

CAR prangs Ferrari FF

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

CAR's Jethro Bovingdon gets in a mess with the Ferrari FF It’s happened to us all on a car review, but not necessarily whilst piloting a £230k Ferrari FF. Ferrari has been hosting a playday in Italy for print media to come and torment the Ferrari FF, to see if its deserves to be a real Ferrari despite its pseudo SUV, Shooting Brake styling. CAR Magazine sent along hack Jethro Bovingdon to fly the CAR flag in Italy, and put together a piece for the magazine and (fortunately for us) a video piece for the website.

Late-brakers are 'biggest irritation on the road'

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

DRIVERS WHO brake at the last minute and then turn without signalling are the most annoying on the road, according to a new poll. 2,000 people were surveyed by First Bus who then compiled the 50 most annoying motoring bugbears, with late brakers topping the chart. High parking charges also appeared in the top ten, as did dangerous behaviours such as tailgating, being cut up, drivers using mobile phones and motorcyclists weaving through traffic.

2015 Ford Mustang Mach 1 rendered

Mon, 23 Dec 2013

File this one under "harmless speculation we're hoping Ford execs are paying attention to": Top Speed has rendered the 2015 Mustang Mach 1, giving an idea of what to expect if/when the Blue Oval trots out a hotter version of the newest pony car. The heat extractors on the hood get beefed up, and there's no missing the gigantic, adjustable front splitter. The lip spoiler on the trunk would be subtle if not for the contrasting black paint.
