Wed, 14 Jul 2010“There are no egos in this club,” said Tom Ochal, owner of a pristine 1993 Taurus SHO. “The other guys might have a problem with aftermarket wheels or other-make parts, but not us.” That same sentiment was echoed throughout the parking lot at the 19th-annual Taurus SHO club convention at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Mich., right before the crew took off to the Waterford Hills racetrack in nearby Clarkston. At least 100 cars SHO-ed up for the 2010 meet.

It beat 33 contenders, including six other finalists to the top motoring prize in Europe.The Polo narrowly won with 347 points, putting to rights its trophy-free record in Car of the Year. The runner-up was the innovative Toyota iQ, 10 points behind with 337 points.
Honda AC-X Concept
Thu, 10 Nov 2011The Honda AC-X plug-in hybrid sedan will form part of the company's seven concept vehicle strategy at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. From the images released by Honda, the AC-X appears similar in both size and proportion to the hydrogen fuel cell-powered FCX Clarity, with its a-pillars and windscreen base pulled far forwards, a smooth transition over its nose, screen, roof and rear deck and an elongated, sharply cut-off tail. Aerodynamic efficiency is clearly paramount.
