Up for auction here is a Good Used Matched Pair (1 left hand, 1 right hand) of HOOD HINGES & Original Mounting Bolts, removed from a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500XL that I am parting out. The Hinges operated very well, but could use some Lubrication (I didn't want to make them messy for shipping). The Hood opened and closed straight and sat flush when shut. They obviously need a cosmetic restoration to make them look nice (surface rust)..I may remove the springs and collapse the hinges for shipping purposes (springs will be included of course)...Bolts also included...These Hinges should also be correct for all Fullsize Ford & Mercury Cars from 1965-1968 such as Galaxie, 500, 500XL, XL500, Custom, LTD, Country Squire, Country Sedan, Maurader, S55, S-55, Monterey, Montery, Commuter, Colony Park wagon, Meteor, Montcalm, Montclair, etc, however I am UNCERTAIN, so please research your application before bidding. Tue, 08 Sep 2009Renault has announced the Renault Koleos White Edition today Unlike their Gallic counterparts PSA, Renault didn’t take a Mitsubishi Outlander and splice some French bits on. Instead, they went to Nissan, nicked the X-Trail underpinnings and proceeded to produce their mongrel Koleos. Remarkably – once you get over the looks – the car is pretty competent.
