Very Nice Used ORIGINAL KELSEY HAYES STEEL WHEELS
Rim Material:Steel Rim Brand:GM Kelsey Hayes Rim Width:15X5.5

FOR SALE: A "ORIGINAL" set of four (4) 1965 1966 Corvette Kelsey Hayes steel wheels, I personally removed these from a very original 1965 Corvette. I just had them bead blasted and cleaned up, overall they are in very good original condition for their age and use, some minor pitting but most of that is in the inner center part of the wheels. Wheels are 15 x 5 & 1/2 JK Kelsey Hayes and are currently "raw steel", I do NOT paint the wheels as a number of people want to have their wheels powder coated and if I paint them the customer would have to re-strip them for the powder coating process. Wheel are sold in raw steel state so the customer can have them coated as he or she wants. The area that shows the Kelsey Hayes logo and wheel size has been polished for the ebay pictures and I did spray flat clear coat paint in that general area. If you are building a N.C.R.S. or Bloomington Gold type Corvette these may be just what you need! Very rare original Kelsey Hayes steel wheels. These wheels are correct for a 1965 1966 Corvette with disc brakes. These will also work for 1963 1964 Corvettes with drum brakes BUT 1963 1964 Corvette wheels will NOT fit 1965 1966 Corvettes with disc brakes. Very rare original Kelsey Hayes steel wheels.  DO NOT MISS OUT!  In this sale you will receive the FOUR wheels pictured in this listing. These wheels will be shipped in 4 boxes by U.S.Postal Service and it normally costs $45.00 per wheel/box. The winning buyer to pay $150.00 "total" shipping (heavy) and handling if sold inside the lower 48 states. SOLD AS IS!  Please note: We are in a very rural area and ship just once a week.  Also we do ship WORLDWIDE!  ENJOY YOUR CORVETTE! Thanks for looking!

Jaguar E-Type is 'most-wanted' classic car

Thu, 28 Aug 2014

THE ICONIC Jaguar E-type is the most desirable classic car for drivers in the UK. The British sports car topped a poll of great cars we’d most like to have in our garages. Reasons for the E-Type Roadster being most popular were as diverse as its curvaceous lines to the sound of the exhaust when driving on a country road.

One Lap of the Web: Bugatti state of mind

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

-- Last week, we looked at the new Bugatti exhibit at the Mullin Museum, which taught us more about Bugatti in an afternoon than the last three years of idly flipping through Pebble Beach programs. Having thus immersed ourselves in the House That Ettore Built, we'd really like to drive to work in a faithful Type 35 replica by the aptly named Pur Sang, which Mark Dixon of Octane drove for his 140-mile commute. "You need to keep the revs up while the engine clears its throat and warms its plugs," he writes.

McLaren 650S priced from £195,250 and does 0-62mph in 3.0 seconds

Thu, 27 Feb 2014

The new McLaren 650S (pictured) costs from £195,250 It’s only ten days since the McLaren 650S was revealed as a more hardcore version of McLaren 12C supercar – and with more than a hint of P1 styling – but McLaren are already building it and have revealed performance and price details. Available as either a 650S Coupe or 650S Spider, the starting point is £195,250 for the Coupe and £212,250 for the Spider, that’s almost £20k more for the 650S Coupe than the 12C Coupe and £17k more for the Spider. But apart from the more dramatic styling, increased downforce and tweaks from the extra power – the 650S gets 641bhp – to the improved handling and dynamics, you also get increased levels of optional equipment including carbon racing seats from the P1, rear parking camera and full carbon fibre interior.
