Original 66 & 67 Cutlass/442 glove box door with hinge & strike plate. This one is in good, solid condition and has no cracks. The hinge is not rusty, the bottom side is clean. It was originally red and someone sprayed it black years ago. The black dye is worn off in spots and will need to be stripped off or scuffed and re-sprayed any color of choice, not a difficult job. Please see all photos up close for condition detail. I do not have a key for it. Will pack carefully & ship within the 48 states via US Postal. Ford completes sale of Volvo to China's Geely
Mon, 02 Aug 2010Ford said today it has completed the sale of Volvo Cars to Zhejiang Geely Holding Group for $1.8 billion. Divesting Volvo completes Ford CEO Alan Mulally's strategy of exiting European luxury brands to focus on the core Ford brand, following the U.S. carmaker's 2007 sale of Aston Martin, and of Jaguar and Land Rover to India's Tata Motors Ltd.
2011 Ford Flex goes Titanium
Thu, 20 May 2010Taking a page from its SEMA playbook, Ford is rolling out a top-of-the-line, semi-blinged-out people hauler for 2011, the Flex Titanium. It's dressed up for a night on the town, or a trip to soccer practice, and was devised by Ford product gurus who noticed most Flex customers tend to take high levels of content in their vehicles. The Flex Titanium has a unique black chrome-finish grille with Flex badging on the edge of the hood--a cue straight from SEMA models in 2008 and 2009.
Volvo V40 gets new Drive-e D4 and T5 engines
Thu, 27 Mar 2014The Volvo V40 (pictured) gets Volvo’s new Drive-e engines Last year Volvo revealed its new, efficient and flexible Drive-e engines and plans to offer them in the S60, V60 and XC60 with a 179bhp D4 and a 302bhp T6. Now, the new Volvo V40 is getting Drive-e powertrains. Both the V40 and the V40 Cross Country are getting Drive-e engine options, with both the D4 diersel and T5 petrol coming on-stream from May 2014.
