Chevrolet Trax revealed ahead of Paris Motor Show debut

The Chevrolet Trax – the Chevrolet take on the Vauxhall Mokka – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. We reported a few months ago that we could expect the Chevrolet Trax at the Paris Motor Show, but ahead of that reveal Chevrolet has sent us some photos of the Trax and a few details. Effectively the Chevrolet take on the Opel and Vauxhall Mokka (and, for that matter, the Buick Encore), the Trax gets a a Chevy makeover for the front and back and the required rebadging.

It’s the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so it’s time for Toyota to roll out yet another Hybrid Concept, this time it’s the turn of the FT-Bh Concept which is a small hybrid – more or less Yaris-sized – that Toyota claims makes use of viable methods and materials in its construction. 2010 Audi Hybrid Q5 coming to the U.S.

Audi will offer a hybrid version of its Q5 crossover in the United States starting in late 2010, says Wolfgang Hatz, head of powertrain development for the Volkswagen group. In an interview Sunday at the Detroit Auto Show , Hatz said Audi must offer a hybrid model to compete with rival vehicles that already offer the technology, such as the Lexus RX 400H. The BMW X6 will be offered as a hybrid late this year, and Mercedes plans to roll out a hybrid in each of its major models starting with the S400 hybrid this year.
