GM recalls midsize cars for transmission fix
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling the Chevrolet Malibu, Pontiac G6 and Saturn Aura to fix a problem with the transmission shift cable. GM says the tabs on the cable end may break. If that happens, the shifter indicator may not match the transmission's gear.

Which is a big change from the last generation Micra which was produced in Sunderland, but a move that seemed to make sense in a world where small cars in emerging markets are a priority, and where cost of production is much lower.
Donato Coco announced as new Ferrari Design Chief
Tue, 08 Nov 2005Donato Coco has been appointed as Ferrari's new Chief Designer, starting November 14. It is a move that fills the void left by Frank Stephenson, who earlier this year moved to head the Fiat, Lancia and Light Commercial Vehicles styling center. "Coco will have the job of stimulating and directing the creativity of Ferrari's partners, which in terms of styling include our historic partnership with Pininfarina," Ferrari said.
