Honda FCEV Concept debuts at the Los Angeles Motor Show 2013

Newspress No company has done more to promote the idea of a hydrogen-powered fuel cell car than Honda. Eleven years on from the launch of their first 'production' hydrogen car, Honda showed off the FCEV Concept, which previews the debut of a new hydrogen production car in 2015. Until now, Honda's hydrogen cars have been notable for their conservatism.

Dodge Hornet is go

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 04 July 2007 12:30 The newly independent Chrysler Group has saved its deal with Chinese maker Chery - which means that the Dodge Hornet is a step closer to production. Dodge needs a partner with which to develop new smaller cars, like the Hornet, as it's too cash-strapped to fund them solo. The deal signed last night means that the two car makers will 'work together to develop, manufacture and distribute Chery-made small and sub-compact cars in North America, Europe and other major automotive markets under the Chrsyler Group brands.' No mention was made of the Hornet, but Chyrsler’s international director for sales and marketing, has previously told CAR Online that the firm would produce the butch supermini.

Jaguar XJ preview (Video)

Ian Callum stars in this video to the left - a preview of the forthcoming Jaguar XJ set to make its debut on July 9th this year. In his words: "The car is very modern, and it certainly meets up the expectations of people who understand design with a capital D, I have no doubt about that whatsoever." Callum goes on to describe the new XJ as a "very well crafted car," stating that it is "also a very designer led car". He asserts that the lines of the car have been reinterpreted in a different way "that actually is right and correct for the 21st century.
