  Up for sale is a 1968 cast iron Quadra-Jet big block Chevy intake manifold. The intake is GM part# 3883948 and is dated I-19-7.  The intake has been cleaned and inspected and all looks great. All threads are very nice other than one heli-coil in the t-stat. This was used  on the following 1968 big block applications: 68 passenger car w/427-390hp & 396-350hp-325hp, Chevelle & El Camino 396-350HP, This is a must for that matching numbers restoration!! Porsche says Panamera avoids gas-guzzler tax

Few expenses were spared in conceiving the Porsche Panamera, but consumers will avoid at least one cost of ownership: the ignominious gas-guzzler tax. Porsche has announced ratings for the 2010 sedan; it will get a combined figure of 18 mpg or 19 mpg from the EPA, depending on the model. This means Porsche’s four-door foray will avoid a fairly substantial cost of ownership--a tax of up to $7,700 is levied on the most prolific guzzlers.

Audi reveals crossover concept for Beijing show (2014) first pictures

According to these first pictures, it’s essentially a four-door version of the Allroad Shooting Brake concept from Audi’s Detroit motor show stand, mixing TT style with Q5 attitude. Audi’s only released these design sketches so far, and not let on any powertrain details.

James Hope has been appointed Corporate Director of Design at Chery Motors, the Chinese state-owned carmaker. He joins Chery from General Motors, where he held the position of Assistant Chief Designer since February 2008. Hope took up his new position on 16 January, based in Chery's Shanghai satellite studio from where he will report directly to Chen Anning, Chery's Head of Product Development.
