New Chevrolet Aveo (2012): Costs from £9,995 It’s taken a very long time for the (now) 2012 Chevrolet Aveo to make it from production reveal - at Paris 2010 – to a reality in UK showrooms. But Chevy has finally got it together and the new Aveo will arrive in a Chevrolet showroom near you (if there’s a Chevy showroom near you, that is) in January – a full two years since Chevy rolled out the new Aveo concept at Detroit at the start of 2010. So was it worth the wait?

Lexus GS gets Supercharged for SEMA 2012

A Lexus GS350 has been titivated and Supercharged by VIP Auto Salon ahead of a reeval at the 2012 SEMA Show. Last year – at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas – Lexus introduced us to the sporty side of the new GS with the debut of the GS F-Sport, a titivated GS with more aggressive looks and a more sporty character  But this year we’re getting something with a bit more oomph – a Lexus GS350 F-Sport with a nice meaty supercharger bolted on. We don’t actually get the GS350 in the UK – we have the choice of the GS250 with a 2.5 litre V6 or the GS450 V6 hybrid – but on the other side of the Pond they get the V6 we get in the 450h but without the hybrid gubbins, which offers 300 horses, and that’s the GS model VIP Auto Salon have given new life to.

New Mercedes S 65 AMG revealed as S-Class range-topper

The 2014 Mercedes S 65 AMG (pictured) revealed ahead of LA & Tokyo debuts We’re assuming that the new 2014 Mercedes S 65 AMG will remain the new range-topper for the S-Class, but with Pullman versions of the S-Class still to come – perhaps with the Maybach badge – that’s not a certainty. But for now, the newly-revealed S65 AMG is indeed the top of the range in the new S-Class and will get its public debut at both the Los Angles and Tokyo Motor Shows later this month. We’ve actually already seen a photo of the new S65 AMG back in September when Mercedes were busy filming a promo, but now we get the full details ahead of debut.
