First look: 2014 BMW M3 and M4

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The BMW M3 is back, faster and more powerful than ever before -- but only as a four-door sedan. For its iconic 3-series-based performance model, BMW will dispense with a 26-year tradition of high-revving naturally aspirated engines in lieu of turbocharged six-cylinder power. Revealed here in production-car guise for the first time, the new 425-hp M3 sedan will be joined at the outset by its sister model, the M4 -- a mechanically identical but stylistically sleeker two-door coupe previewed in lightly veiled concept-car form at the Pebble Beach concours in California last August.

Jaguar Land Rover sales up 32% in January 2013

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

Jaguar Land Rover sales continue to power ahead, with sales up 32 per cent in January 2013 – 31 per cent up for Land Rover and 40 per cent for Jaguar. We’ve got used to ever increasing sales from both Jaguar and Land Rover in recent years, and 2013 has started for JLR in the same manner as 2012 – with sales up by 32 per cent. JLR are reporting sales up in every major market, with China topping the list with an increase of 74 per cent, but even the UK (up 33 per cent) and USA (up 24 per cent) performed well and, despite sales falling across Europe for most car makers, Jaguar Land Rover managed to increase their sale by 10 per cent on the Continent.

Mon, 05 Nov 2007

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 05 November 2007 02:47 This past weekend the foundation stone for the Ferrari Theme Park was laid on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi – one of seven Emirates making up the UAE - along with a time capsule. Under the rule of Luca di Montezemolo Ferrari has gone from strength to strength, and having its own theme park will surely cement Ferrari’s future. The theme park will sprawl across 250,000sq m, with 80,000sq m under cover.
