Up for auction is a pair of mint rear seat panels from a 78 Firebird. These have been off the car and stored away for nearly 30 years. No cracks, scratches or fading. They are a nice jet black color still, never dyed. You cant go wrong with original GM parts for look and finish! Shipping will be fixed at $58.00 anywhere in the continental US. Prime Minister praises JLR during visit to new engine plant

Prime Minister David Cameron today praised Jaguar Land Rover as he made a surprise visit to the firm’s brand new £500 million engine production facility in Wolverhampton. The PM flew in to join a special contingent of MPs, local government officials and the press on an early preview tour of the in-construction new plant, just six weeks after the JLR team themselves moved in. Apparently, an insider told MSN Cars, the PM had personally requested to visit the plant – and he wasn’t originally invited!

College for Creative Studies - GM Autonomy 2020 project

Final year Transportation Design students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies have presented the results of a GM-sponsored project, to design a GM vehicle for the year 2020. The proposals were to be based on the skateboard-shaped chassis of the Autonomy fuel cell concept shown at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show. This was one of several manufacturer-sponsored projects that were presented in the lead-up to the annual CCS Student Exhibition, which opens this Friday May 14.
