Please read below before bidding:

ITEM DESCRIPTIONS: Some of the items I sell are older, vintage, and almost always pre-owned. I do my absolute best to catch and mention any blemishes, defects, etc., but on occasion I don't catch everything. Please know this when bidding on older or used items.  I do not mind taking extra pictures to email you or anything just to get us on the same page.

SHIPPING: I will ship with three (3) business days of auction ending as the description states but often its within the second day.  Please understand that most items can not be packaged until after auction end or sale as last minute photo requests or questions are frequent. I carefully package all items so that they arrive safely at your door. I will only ship to paypal verified addresses. I normally ship USPS however due to different situations (postal lines, location, etc) UPS is used at times.

LOCAL PICK UP ITEMS: Local pick up items are available for pick up at the location listed in the auction.  I have sold several items and always have had a great time meeting fellow eBay users.  Several times people have wanted items listed for local pick up shipped to them.  To accommodate this request, I delivered the item to the local UPS store which the seller called in to make the shipping arraignments and payment.  I do not mind doing this, however please let me know ahead of time so I can plan to accommodate this.  I also do not mind not having a immediate paypal and accepting cash at the time of sale, as many buyers have preferred to do that.  Whatever the buyer is comfortable with is fine with me.

FEEDBACK: Customer satisfaction is my top priority. I aspire to give you five star services, if you do not get that please contact me ASAP So we can correct the problem before you leave feedback. I always leave feedback after the buyer does so I know the sale is complete and you are happy. Should any issue arise with your purchase, please contact me so that we can work things out. Feedback is very important to all of us, as it allows us to keep the bad apples out of eBay for both buyer and seller.  Not only do I sell on eBay but I buy quite a bit, too.  It seems a majority of bad feedback results from lack of communication.  I ask that before you leave feedback you discuss your issue with me.  There is always a common ground solution that can be reached.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I love my international buyers and most of my listings are available for purchase to worldwide customers.  I do appreciate if you bid as an international buyer you send me a message beforehand.  This allows me to get an estimate on shipping and it shows me you are a real interested buyer.  For whatever reason many new buyers without feedback are bidding on items that they never pay for.  That will let me know your serious and will get me working out the details before the auction ends.   If a listed item is not available internationally (usually due to weight), please contact me prior to bidding so that we can look at shipping costs and reach an agreement prior to purchase.

“Where is the sustainable vehicle design?”

Wed, 28 Apr 2010

The notion of a 'new paradigm in car design' was a theme running through talks by five panelists at London's Royal College of Art last week, who debated "Seriously now, where is the sustainable vehicle design?" Despite disparate backgrounds, there was broad agreement that a truly sustainable form of personal transportation is unlikely to come from an established automotive firm any time soon. Panelist Rob Holdway of Giraffe Innovation was most vocal in his approach to the subject, saying "Frankly, I think the car is unacceptable - we hear a lot about the sustainable car, but I don't think there is such a thing as a sustainable car". The audience - made up mainly of RCA students - also heard from Nico Sergent of Riversimple about how the company's seven-point business model, and its open source strategy, incentivized the company to build a truly sustainable car and mobility package that the current auto model simply doesn't allow.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo for UK & Europe gets 186 horses UPDATED

Fri, 02 Mar 2012

Hyundai Veloster Turbo for the UK gets 186hp The Hyundai Veloster Turbo – due to be revealed at Geneva next week – will get 186hp and 270NM of torque for the UK & Europe. When the Hyundai Veloster was confirmed for the UK and Europe back in November, we did say that it was likely to come with fewer horses but more torque to make it more fun to drive on European roads than the bigger horses and lower torque figures the American version gets. Now we learn that the UK and European Veloster Turbo will come packing 186hp (183bhp) – down from over 200hp in the US version – but with 270NM (199lb/ft) of torque.

Honda S660 Concept sports car for Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Honda has announced its line-up for the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show – and right at the top of the billing is this tiny but mighty S660 Concept roadster. As the name suggests, the S660 is only billed as a concept. But looking distinctly like an evolution of the 2011 Honda EV-STER show car [note this is a 2011 concept despite the title of a later link…], could it be that the Japanese manufacturer is finally about to build a new sporting model?
